The 2011 turkey trot was a great success. The trot is a 5-kilometer fun run/walk that benefits Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook. The race begins at 8:15 a.m. in Tall Trees Park and winds through the streets of Glenview's scenic Tall Trees neighborhood just west of the corner of Waukegan Road and Lake Avenue. The course is certified by the United States Track and Field Association. For more information, e-mail ken@krausflaming.com.

2009 Turkey Trot Nets $11,700 for Youth Services

Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook received $11,700 from the Tall Trees Turkey Trot organizing committee after the 2009 race. Race Director Ken Kraus presented a check to Monica Garvey, Youth Services special events coordinator, at a reception at Glenview's WineStyles, a race sponsor. A number of other sponsors and race volunteers also attended.
